In Glen Rose, TX. Same road as "The Outlaw Station" there is this old abandoned building. One website claimed it to be a old general store, and given it's proximity to "the Outlaw Station", it may have been at one time. It also seems to have been someone's residence. The front room is large and open with what looks like a kitchen in the back and a small living area adorned with a light pink fireplace. Something that was intentional as the opposite wall still held the hint of pink paisley wallpaper. This structure looks very old and very unstable. The front pillars may have been for a gate of some sort or perhaps for pumps? The left pillar looks like someone had a swervy late night drive. Oddly enough the property is for sale, and it has a fairly new realtor sign in front. It looked like someone had tried to renovate the property in the past, but a past long ago as well.
look through the front door.
The stone structure is still standing strong, everything else is falling apart.
side entrance to what looked like a living room
Pink wallpaper still on the walls. there was hint of blue walls as well.
Pink fireplace to match the pink wallpaper. someone got creative with some red paint.
what looks like a basement but it's the same 1st level. this room is the opposite of the "pink" room. look at the tree going right on the steps!
concrete stairs led up to the upper floor. the stairs were still solid, the upper floor, not so much. waiting for a big wind storm to blow it all away.
rear shot of the building. the exterior of the pink chimney .
